Desert's Edge Farm
By Har Hebron Fund
Where wind and earth meet, Desert Tongue Ranch invites you to become partners in our work
Among the southern Hebron hills, where silence meets the raw earth, lies Desert's Edge Farm. The ranch was born from a clear vision: to preserve desert land and the connection between people and earth.
At the ranch's heart operates our sheep flock. Daily grazing throughout the year is our way to preserve the soil, prevent encroachment, and strengthen our presence on the ground. This is how we protect tens of thousands of acres of open land.
Desert's Edge Farm is more than a ranch - it's a foothold in the terrain. Through daily work, struggle, and learning, a living guardianship emerges here, based on the bond between shepherd and his land.
Our presence here is a daily choice. Facing the wind, sand, and sun, we choose to be part of this place - to protect it and give it life. Among desert plants, stone houses, shepherds, and guests from Israel and around the world, a community is built that believes in roots and continuous action.
Desert's Edge Farm connects human to earth, grazing to tradition, guardianship to life. Those who come here feel it immediately.
Join us - for a tour, to volunteer, or to support our desert preservation efforts.
