The Children of the Light association works on a full volunteer basis to assist and support children with Nevus and their families, in order to improve the quality of their lives from a medical, social and emotional point of view. We hope that with your help and contribution, our children will be able to continue to shine and illuminate our ways and their way in life, learn from the difference and be a source of inspiration for accepting the different. We wish you that the bright and captivating smile, the contagious laughter and the infinite power of these children will serve as a daily reminder that the greatest darkness is the one from which the light that shines is the strongest. We need your donations in order to make the difficult years our children go through a little easier and brighter, in so many surgeries and hospitalizations they go through and also in their rehabilitation, and their physical, emotional and social coping that accompanies these long processes. With the help of your donations we will be able to: - Renovate and make the treatment rooms for children more pleasant. - To hold a joyful annual event for the children and their families, we call this event - "We are not alone, we put the shame aside!". You are more than invited to come and meet the children and their families! - Put up for the parents an annual professional conference that deals entirely with Nevus - research, insights from the world, case studies and lectures by leading professors in the field. - To allow mental and emotional support for parents, families and children. - Purchase bandage materials and complementary medical equipment (these are very expensive products and some cannot even be purchased in Israel). - Small donations to provide a sense of relief and encouragement for the children who come to clinics and hospitals for treatments. All your donations are intended to help us create a warm, happy and coping environment for children with Nevus who are in difficult processes and constant suffering for years.
