Nofei Prat Farm From the soil, a nation will grow Background  Ein Prat - The Institute for Leadership and Social Renewal is an institution dedicated to developing the future leadership of the State of Israel and the Jewish people. Ein Prat leads continuous renewal and improvement at the conceptual, cultural, and behavioral levels, across all strata of society and leadership, for the sake of meaningful lives, an exemplary society, and a just state. The driving idea behind Ein Prat is responsibility for the future of the State of Israel, its social resilience, its values, and the character of its leaders in a multi-generational perspective. The Farm's Vision  Connecting all of Israel to Zionism and love of the land through agricultural work and education for resilience, spirit, and responsibility. Location Gush Adumim, in a strategic area overlooking Nahal Prat (Prat Stream), connecting Jerusalem to the Judean Desert. The Mission Establishing an agricultural-educational farm in the Gush Adumim area with two main objectives: 1. A unique leadership program where participants will lead and take full responsibility for the manual labor on the farm. 2. Connecting as many people as possible to Zionist values and agricultural work. Uniqueness of the program The leadership program at Nofei Prat Farm is designed for young men and women before military service, from across Israeli society - religious and secular alike. The participants work in the farm's branches from sunrise until night, physical labor that builds resilience, and serve as those fully responsible for all farm branches and its daily operation. The cross-sectoral diversity, full responsibility, and manual labor are the three main and unique elements of the Educational Program. Farm Branches • Goat pen - 60 goats that go out to pasture and are milked. The milk is utilized • Chicken coop - chickens for personal use • Greenhouses - for growing vegetables and unique desert plants • Orchards - trees of the seven species and special varieties • Dog boarding - in memory of a fallen soldier from the Iron Swords War Impact Impact on the farm's young men and women: A leadership program for 15 young men and women from across Israeli society, who establish, lead, and manage the farm on their own. Impact on the people of Israel: Creating a center for connection to Zionism and the land for all of Israeli society. Impact on the region: Preserving the land in a strategic area of the highest importance to the State of Israel.
