About us HaShomer HaChadash was founded in 2007 by young pioneers driven to revitalize Israel’s agricultural frontier and instill a renewed sense of Zionist commitment in the next generation. Today, it is the largest volunteer movement in Israel. Our Vision To ensure the long-term prosperity of the Jewish people in their homeland, rooted in security, strength, and deep connection to the land. Our Mission To lead a national civil movement that empowers people of all ages to take responsibility for Israel’s future through hands-on initiatives that strengthen food independence, build civic resilience, create vibrant agricultural and border communities, and foster a shared sense of purpose.
