Who We Are
ATLANTIS 2679 is a high school robotics team from The Hebrew University Secondary school, one of Israel's leading schools in Israel. We compete in the FRC competition, building a brand-new robot from scratch in just six weeks each year.
Our students will be tomorrow's engineers, researchers, and entrepreneurs. Investing in them today is investing in our shared technological future. But for us, excellence isn't just a personal achievement – it's also a responsibility.
What We Do?
We don't keep our knowledge to ourselves. We give back to the community:
• Mentoring five robotics teams for students in grades 3-9.
• Delivering volunteer activities and educational sessions on robotics and science.
• During the recent war, we launched the Project: "Atlantis at Home" – 49 enrichment activities reaching more than 2,500 children across Israel.
We believe every child deserves access to science, regardless of their background.
Why do We Need Your Support?
Our annual operating costs – tools, materials, and competition fees – total approximately $40,000 USD.
Your contribution enables us to:
• Continue competing and representing our school & Jerusalem.
• Make science accessible to dozens more students in Jerusalem and across the country.
• Raise a generation that knows not only how to receive, but also how to give back
