Hachnasat Orchim Rashbi Meron

The organization operates a year-round hospitality center at the holy resting place of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai in Meron, providing hundreds of warm and nourishing meals each day to visitors, throughout the entire year, including Shabbat and holidays. During the annual Hilula of Rabbi Shimon, the organization operates the central hospitality center on site and distributes hundreds of thousands of meals to the many who come to honor the occasion. In addition, the organization maintains a yeshiva located near the cave of Rabbi Shimon, where dozens of dedicated scholars study the teachings of Rabbi Shimon, deliver Torah lessons, and pray on behalf of those who request blessings and salvation. The organization also operates a broad support network throughout northern Israel, distributing hundreds of hot meals daily to large families, families in need, and welfare-assisted households, with the goal of providing dignified and meaningful support.
