Goals After the events of October 7, the children and families of the kibbutz face emotional and physical challenges like never before. They need a caring environment where play isn’t just fun, but healing. We aim to build a playground at Kfar Azza that offers more than swings and slides: a place for activity, connection, expression and regeneration. This space will help children cope with anxiety, embrace joy and strengthen their social bonds. It will also become a hub where parents and families feel supported and part of a resilient, attentive community. By the end of 2025, we will create a state‑of‑the‑art outdoor playground at Kfar Azza, fully accessible, safe and built for all ages. The design includes: • Modern play equipment (slides, swings, sandboxes) tailored to children’s needs and safety standards A community meeting point where children play and parents connect Through this space, children will explore, imagine, move, and families will find a place to gather, support and heal together How These Goals Shape the Fundraising Objective When you donate, you are doing more than funding equipment - you are giving hope, connection and a brighter future. • Your gift provides children a place to play, heal and thrive. • Your support helps families feel part of a strong, caring community. • Your contribution strengthens Kfar Azza’s resilience and sets the foundation for long‑term positive change. Together, we can turn this vision into reality. Every donation matters. Every donor becomes part of the story of renewal. Perhaps the most repeated line in Jewish life is "Kol Yisrael Areivim Zeh baZeh" ~ "All of Israel is responsible one for the other." (BT Shevuot 39a) While it is true that we feel that sense of responsibility, that word "areivim" has to do with mixing ... so we might consider the translation as "All of Israel is mixed up one with the other." Indeed, we are. The entirety of our people - whether we live in Kfar Azza, California, or Kiev, our history and our future are mixed in, tied together, and directly related to one another.

Whole families, parents, bothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, grandfathers and grandmothers, were murdered in cold blood. Their houses were turned into ...
