Nomad Excel is a dedicated entrepreneurship and business-recovery program designed to restore financial and family stability for self-employed professionals and small business owners whose livelihoods were harmed due to extended reserve duty. he program grew out of on-the-ground work with alumni of the Nahal Reconnaissance Battalion (Palas"ar Nahal), but it is designed and tailored for all self-employed reservists in Israel. Since October 7, tens of thousands of self-employed Israelis have been called to repeated and unpredictable rounds of service. While they defended the country, their businesses ground to a halt, cashflow collapsed, and the impact reached deep into their homes and families. We are here to ensure that no self-employed reservist is forced to choose between serving the nation and providing for their family. The ChallengeOver the past year, self-employed reservists have faced a unique and devastating set of challenges: • Repeated, unpredictable call-ups • Complete interruption of business activity • Loss of clients, revenue, cashflow and routine • Mental exhaustion and professional disconnection • Direct harm to family stability and emotional well-being They return from service into a reality of profound uncertainty - financially, professionally, and at home. Our SolutionThe From Service to Success program is an intensive 7-10 day entrepreneurship and business-recovery bootcamp held in inspiring international locations. To date, we have successfully completed programs in Kotor (Montenegro) and Bansko (Bulgaria). Each participant goes through a deep, structured process that includes: • Comprehensive business assessment: understanding what works, what’s stuck, and what must be rebuilt • A practical growth plan: business models, pricing, marketing, sales processes and cashflow planning • Personal mentorship: guidance from experienced entrepreneurs, strategists, marketing experts and AI specialists • Digital tools & AI integration: automations that help the business function even during future reserve duty • Emotional and community strengthening: group experiences that rebuild confidence, purpose and belonging • Long-term support network: a strong alumni community that continues supporting participants for months after the bootcamp Our approach is simple: Rebuild the business - rebuild the family’s resilience.
