We helped evacuate those in danger, offer refuge in our accessible hotel, provide life-sustaining equipment, host families of the injured in hospitality suites near hospitals, and more. Now, as the country turns its focus from emergency response to rehabilitation and recovery, this is where Yad Sarah really steps in and where your support matters even more. Every day in our 127 branches throughout the country, our more than 7000 strong volunteer base and staff provide: • Free/low-cost lending of medical and rehabilitative equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, and more) so people can recover at home. • Accessible transportation for people to continue living regular daily lives • Day rehabilitation centers that help  patients regain strength and independence with dedicated professionals. • Emergency alarm system and response center for seniors and people living alone. • Mobile dental clinics for those who need treatment at home • Legal aid for seniors at our pro bono clinic, Yad Riva that combats abuse, fraud, loss of rights. • Services for the homebound, including friendly home visits, help with daily living, and support to reduce isolation and loneliness.
