Starting Over Sanctuary: Emergency Hay Fund

Soon, we may not have enough food for our animals. We urgently need to buy as much hay as possible. Last winter there was a drought. And there is almost no hay in Israel. Hay prices have almost doubled. And we struggle each day to find enough hay. Our monthly expenses have significantly increased. Our animals were rescued from the most difficult places, survived the unthinkable, and were rehabilitated with great love and dedication thanks to your support. We are doing everything we can to maximize efficiency and reduce overall hay consumption. In the last six months alone, we have flown 258 donkeys to wonderful shelters in Europe where there is no shortage of hay. Our efforts to transport donkeys to a life of freedom and safety continue. Currently, our shelter is home to nearly 800 donkeys and close to 100 horses. Please donate whatever you can. Every dollar counts and helps save lives.
