Reusable pad kits for women in Gaza

Harsh Reality and Loss of Dignity Amidst the chaos and overcrowding in Gaza, life in makeshift shelters without sanitation makes safe and hygienic menstrual management nearly impossible. Without basic products, women and girls are forced to remain isolated inside their tents, exposed to infection and other health risks. This reality strips them of their basic dignity. We Proved It Works! The NATAN organization launched a pilot project in partnership with Gaza Children Village (GCV) at the orphanage school in Khan Younis. To date, 2,000 kits of reusable pads (Dignity Kits) have been successfully supplied to women in Khan Younis! We provided training to the girls and women caring for the orphans on how to use the kits. The feedback we received from the women was excellent! The kits are significantly serving their needs. Reusable Pads are an excellent solution, especially with severe import restrictions on single-use pads, and when there is no way to remove hazardous waste in overcrowded shelters. The Goal: Reach More Women We now want to send these kits to all four additional GCV schools to expand this successful model to other communities. This is an opportunity for you to have a direct impact: • A donation of $18 (₪50) will help one woman manage her period with dignity for an entire year! Let's expand this success! Help us ensure that thousands more women and girls receive the kit that will restore their dignity and protect their health. Support the project expansion now!
