A Garden in Nature – A Community Project of Healing, Hope, and Continuity
By The Kibbutz Movement Rehabilitation Fund
Life, love, and continuity
"A Garden in Nature" is a community resilience, educational, and accessible space currently being built in Kibbutz Or HaNer, in the Gaza Envelope – a community that endured the events of October 7th and is now on a journey of recovery and renewal.
The garden is being established in memory of Haggai Zavelevsky, a beloved young man from the kibbutz – gentle, funny, and deeply loved – who was on the autism spectrum with a moderate intellectual disability and lost his life in a car accident.
This living, breathing space invites every member of the community – children, youth, adults, and individuals with special needs – to take part in nurturing, creating, and growing together. Your contribution will transform this vision into a meaningful space of healing, resilience, and connection, honoring Haggai’s loving spirit through shared community action.
The garden embodies a vision of belonging, connection, and strength, turning memory into a force for life.
Join us – let’s create together a place of life, love, and continuity.
