Dear Family and Friends, In light of the ongoing war in Israel and the strain on both regular and reserve forces, we turn to you with a request for support for our fighters. On October 7, thousands of reserve soldiers were urgently mobilized and took an active part in the Iron Swords War. After nearly two years of intensive fighting, the reservists—including the soldiers of the Jerusalem Battalion—continue to be called up for service in various locations and remain on constant alert according to security needs. We are now launching a fundraising campaign to assist all the battalion’s fighters who continue to serve on all fronts even today. The donations will be used to strengthen both the soldiers and the home front: • Organizing activities for the soldiers’ children • Sending small gifts to lift morale • Being there when the system does not provide an answer It is important to emphasize: the soldiers receive the basic support they need, but conditions can always be improved, burdens eased, and welfare and morale enhanced—and that is precisely our goal. Your support will help us assist the fighters in overcoming the challenges of war, and the equipment provided will remain in their hands for future challenges as well. We have no choice—Israel is our home. The 7020 Support Company Association operates on a non-profit basis, entirely voluntarily and without pay. The association holds all the necessary permits for fundraising for this purpose, including approval under Section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance, which allows donations to be recognized as deductible expenses (in accordance with the law). The association has joined to assist the Jerusalem Battalion in the logistical aspect of fundraising and directing the donations for the benefit of the battalion’s fighters.
