In 1920, the Haganah Organization was founded in the Land of Israel, laying the foundations for the Jewish state: • It later formed the basis of 12 brigades of the IDF. • Supported the establishment of 252 kibbutzim and moshavim across the country. • Led the rescue and immigration (“Aliyah Bet”) of about 220,000 immigrants and Holocaust survivors. Today, the Haganah Heritage Organization is dedicated to passing on the values and legacy of the Haganah and the pre-state Jewish community to the younger generation, adapted to the challenges of our time. We do this through direct engagement with soldiers and young adults, pre-army academy students, and university students, as well as the broader public — via tours, conferences, lectures, online programs, and our active website.
