Chushim Needs YOU Now

Do you know what the Israeli Deaf community gets from Chushim? Chanukah parties, Purim megillah readings and parties, Rosh Hashanah celebrations, a travelling Sukkah that goes from Metula to Eilat, translations of the Tanach into Israeli Sign Language, an open house for anyone who comes to visit, advice and help on wrapping tefillin, online and in-person Torah classes, and more. Most of these are provided for free to the Deaf community. But really, nothing is free. Everything costs a lot of money. Up until now, we were blessed with several generous donors who funded these activities. Now they are unable to give anymore. We want to continue to give to the community. It's your right as a deaf Jew to be a full partner in Jewish life. Every event, every trip, the Torah translation – costs. It has to come from somewhere. Chushim needs another 50,000 shekels by Purim, or we will unfortunately have to reduce our activities. This is our community. It's our duty to support ourselves first. Donate now.
