Partnership in Securing the Hill – Drone and Security Camera

Protecting Jewish Lives in Hebron About three months ago, Yeshivat Nir of Kiryat Arba took an important step to help protect the Jewish community in Hebron, also known as the City of the Patriarchs. Together with the Rosh Yeshiva, dozens of families and married students-many of whom serve as IDF reserve soldiers and commanders-established a Jewish presence on Hill 26 near Hebron. They did this under difficult conditions, with personal sacrifice and very basic living conditions. Hill 26 is very important for security. It overlooks the surrounding area and Route 60, the main road connecting Hebron to Jerusalem. Having a Jewish presence there helps protect state land and prevent illegal takeovers. A stronger Jewish presence in Hebron also means a safer Hebron. Improved security makes it easier and safer for Jews to visit the City of the Patriarchs and maintain a connection to this historic and holy site. We cannot afford to wait for danger to happen. Jewish law teaches us to act early to protect lives. Urgent Need: Essential Security Equipment We are asking for your help to fund critical security needs: ● A security drone to provide real-time monitoring, detect suspicious activity, and operate day and night. ● A perimeter camera system to monitor the entire hill and give early warning of any threat to people or property. The total cost of this essential security project is $25,000.
