Eshet Chayil
The Eshet Chayil Project is an organization founded to provide help and support wherever it is needed in connection with the “Swords of Iron” war.
The organization was established just days after October 7th by Avi Schwartz and Yael Levski Heinrich, with the goal of staying closely attuned to the needs on the ground — identifying where help is required, contributing meaningfully, and strengthening those who need it most.
Through partnerships with several nonprofit organizations raising funds both in Israel and abroad, we have so far been able to support a wide range of individuals and address critical areas in need across our country. Over the past year, our primary focus has been on the widows of the “Swords of Iron” fighters — women who gave the most precious thing of all.
With donated funds, we have held three retreats for over 90 widows: two at the Beresheet Hotel and one at Mizpe Hayamim. In addition, we organized three single-day wellness experiences
for widows who had already participated in the two-day retreats. We are currently fundraising for our fourth retreat, scheduled to take place at Mizpe Hayamim on April 27–28, 2026, and we would deeply appreciate your support.
At each retreat, we host 30 widows for two days of emotional and physical renewal — a space where they can pause, care for themselves, connect with other widows who truly understand their journey, and begin healing together. Following the retreat, participants join the Eshet Chayil
community, which offers ongoing activities, daily support, and — with God’s help — many more programs in the future.
We would be honored for you to take part in this meaningful and heartfelt project. Every contribution, of any amount, helps us continue and expand our plans for these remarkable women.
