Maj. Sagi Golan Memorial Viewpoint

Major Sagi Golan, a LOTAR officer and warrior, fell in the battle of Be’eri on October 7th after saving dozens of families. Sagi chose to go out and defend the country he loved; he fell just one week before he was supposed to stand under the wedding canopy with his partner, Omer. Sagi was a leader who embodied both profound strength and infinite sensitivity. We are establishing a desert lookout in his memory, in the place where Sagi found his peace. At the heart of the lookout, we will raise the "Canopy of Equality"—the very canopy Sagi and Omer designed for their wedding—which will now stand as a symbol of fellowship, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
