Help Dima to Compete in the European Para Archery Championships

My name is Dmitry. I am 52 years old and an active wheelchair athlete. In 1998, I sustained a cervical spine injury that left me with a disability. Since then, I receive disability benefits from the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi). Despite this life-changing injury, I chose to stay active and dedicate myself to sport. For the past 10 years I have been practicing archery in the Kashatei Maccabi Rishon club. I personally cover most of the costs involved in my sporting activity, including my monthly club membership, professional equipment (bow, arrows, and other accessories), and participation in competitions. I regularly compete in archery competitions across Israel and have also represented my country in international competitions in the Czech Republic, Italy, and Cyprus - where I even won an individual silver medal. In 2026, I won the Israeli National Championship for athletes with disabilities which was an important milestone after many years of dedication and hard work. On April 25, 2026, the European Para-Archery Championship will take place in Italy. This competition is highly significant, as it may influence the selection process for the upcoming Paralympic Games. To participate in this important competition in Rome, I need your support. The funds raised will help cover the costs of participation, including the competition entry fee, flights and accommodations, which amount to a high sum.
