The security reality of Operation "Roaring Lion" and the missile attacks from Iran and Lebanon have created an unprecedented wave of property damage and destruction across Israel. Hundreds of families have suddenly found themselves displaced and homeless within their own country. Experience gained since October 7, 2023, has taught us that a home is not just four walls; it is the essential infrastructure for rehabilitation and recovery from trauma. Thousands of displaced families now need immediate assistance in furnishing their temporary or new homes to regain a sense of control and stability. Our Urgent Emergency Goals:To meet the dramatic surge in requests, we must secure funding for: • A Certified Bomb Shelter (Mamad): Our 2,000-sqm operational hangar in Emek Hefer is currently unprotected. We must install a protected space to ensure the safety of our volunteers and continuity of operations even under fire. • Reinforcing Logistics & Transport: To handle the massive increase in displaced families, we must strengthen our delivery fleet and logistics chain to transport donated furniture and equipment across the country. About Hazit Habait (Home Front)Hazit Habait is Israel’s largest civilian emergency operations center, serving as a "free store" for those who lost everything. From a massive hangar in Emek Hefer, operated by 250 dedicated volunteers, we have already helped over 3,800 families furnish their temporary homes—providing everything from a sofa to a spoon. We provide emergency assistance to: • Evacuees from all over Israel. • Victims of recent missile attacks. • Wounded soldiers in rehabilitation and reservists. • Survivors of captivity and the Nova festival. • Bereaved families, orphans, and widows.
