GIFT Ladies Dolomites Hike 2026

Around ten years ago, I joined a charity climb of Mt Kilimanjaro, and I've been waiting for an opportunity to dust off my hiking boots ever since! This summer I've found one: a hike in the Dolomites in support of GIFT Israel.   GIFT Israel does remarkable work supporting vulnerable people and communities in very practical ways, from delivering meals to the homeless and supporting displaced and bereaved families to organizing volunteering opportunities and community projects. Their mission goes beyond meeting immediate needs. GIFT exists to inspire and enable lifelong giving, creating a culture of kindness and responsibility and encouraging people of all ages to become active contributors to their communities. In a world that feels increasingly divided, their focus on community, responsibility and looking after one another is a wonderful example.   The training is underway, and I'm looking forward to the challenge (though perhaps not every uphill climb!).
