From Hospital to the Freedom of Home Care

Yad Sarah is Bringing Patients Home ​Israel’s hospitals have gone underground — and Yad Sarah is bringing the patients home for full recovery. Under the threat of missile attacks, hospital wards have been moved to protected spaces to safeguard patients and make room for emergency cases. In this reality, thousands of hospitalized patients are being discharged earlier than anticipated and need immediate medical care at home. Yad Sarah is now operating across the country to help thousands of patients move to full home hospitalization, with all the necessary equipment:​ hospital beds, patient lifts, reclining chairs, oxygen generators, rehabilitation equipment, and other advanced treatment systems. Ahead of Passover, we want to give as many patients as possible the chance to be home for the holiday — surrounded by family, instead of remaining within hospital walls under emergency conditions. For this to happen, we need you. Philanthropist and businessman Mr. Aharon Frenkel has announced that he will double every donation made to expand Yad Sarah’s home hospitalization network.​ Every donation you give is now worth twice as much — enabling another patient to leave the hospital and return home for the holidays.
