Re-building Evyatar's Studio

Evyatar's house was burnt by a missile directly hitting his Nahariyya home and studio - help us re-build it!

“There was a siren, and we ran to the safe room. Within seconds, we heard a massive explosion. We lay on the floor, and then more blasts followed. We heard glass shattering and what sounded like rushing water. When we opened the door, there was a bright light and smoke, and we realized the noise we heard was actually fire. The flames were spreading through the hallway. I ran to my studio to see what I could save, but everything was already burning. I managed to pull out one guitar. On the way out, I saw my mother struggling to shut off the switches in the electrical panel. I dropped the guitar and ran to help her. We got out of the house safely. Our home, where we had lived for over 20 years, is destroyed and burned. My studio, guitars, drums, microphones, computer—everything was completely lost.” Evyatar Talias is a musician and guitar and drum teacher from Nahariya. He is part of a cultural community within the Tarbut Movement and one of the founders of “The Foyer,” a shared rehearsal space for musicians from Nahariya and the surrounding area. For over a decade, Evyatar has volunteered to support and grow the local music scene. He teaches rhythm and music in schools and kindergartens, works with children with special needs through music, is the legendary bassist of the band “Bakshish,” and records music in a home studio he built with his own hands over the years. Music is both Evyatar's livelihood and his dream. In one night, everything was destroyed, and now he must start over—find a way to return to teaching and creating, set up a temporary studio, and replace essential equipment and instruments. After years of giving to his community, this is the moment to give back to him. Every donation helps bring music back into Evyatar’s life- and to the children he works with. Thank you for your support ❤️
