Be the Light in the Shelter

Be the Light in the Shelter – Supporting the Youth of Kfar Blum Dear Friends and Partners, For over two and a half weeks, the children of Kibbutz Kfar Blum have been living inside bomb shelters. As Passover approaches, they face the challenge of spending the "Festival of Freedom" within these confined walls. We invite you to be part of their story. Your support provides more than funding; it provides a vital "lifeline of sanity" and a chance for these children to breathe, create, and grow. How your contribution helps: We are establishing a creative activity center within the shelters, including: • Professional Workshops: Cooking, carpentry, circus arts, and escape rooms. • Technology & AI: Purchasing laptops for shelter use. These will serve as a "window to the world," allowing youth to engage in Generative AI workshops—producing podcasts, writing digital stories, and creating music. • Supplies: Art materials and board games to ease the tension of confinement. • Respite: Once possible, we will take the children for a day of relief outside the danger zone. Impact Example: A professional workshop typically costs around 1,200 NIS (~$330). Every contribution adds another hour of joy and resilience. Accountability & Secure Transfer: Managed by the registered non-profit "Yad Nechmia" (Association #580022663).
