What would you do if a 19-year-old boy asked you to continue it? On the oath of allegiance to my beloved nephew Uri Nehemiah Ashkenazi, we received the last letter he left after he fell in an operation to free hostages in Rafah. In the letter, Uri asked, "I would be happy if you would continue me," a sentence that accompanies me every day. We decided to continue, in what he loved: social work and good, really good food. We are establishing a social home for healing through baking that combines baking therapy for bereaved families, a training home for at-risk youth, in the heart of Herzl Street in Ashkelon. A place where good food has social significance, and the memory of the fighters makes life continue. Fundraising for the establishment of a treatment center to commemorate the fallen of the Iron Swords from Ashkelon A social home for baking therapy We will work to commemorate the warriors through three projects : 1 - Training youth at risk through the worlds of baking Life-changing courses that combine the joy of creation and providing a profession for life in cooperation with the youth sponsorship. 2 - Baking therapy For groups of bereaved parents, siblings, grandparents, NOVA survivors, soldiers with PTSD - with the aim of providing a rehabilitative experiential alternative and hours of respite from personal pain. 3 - Through dough A therapeutic educational space operated by youth is much more than an educational bakery, here they work and learn through doing, discover inner strengths, develop confidence, ability and belonging in a supportive community.
