About Aviv for the ElderlyAviv for the Elderly is the sole organization specializing in helping survivors exercise the rights and benefits attributed to them by the Israeli Finance Ministry, the German state, the Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany and other agencies – completely free of charge. Public donations have enabled us to assist 80,000 Holocaust survivors to date in receiving more than 1 billion NIS in benefits and allowances: • *We operate a 24/7 call center (5711) to provide professional counseling and ongoing guidance to Holocaust survivors, senior citizens, their families, and professionals. • We operate an accessibility program to assist homebound Holocaust survivors and senior citizens throughout the country-Aviv for the Elderly's volunteers visit their homes and assist them in exercising their rights under the close guidance of Aviv for the Elderly's attorney. • Organized "Rights Exhaustion" days are held at day centers, nursing homes, community centers, regional councils, and more. • Aviv established and maintains a unique website. We distribute rights updates to professionals, volunteers, Holocaust survivors, senior citizens, and their relatives regarding the realization of their rights. • Aviv operates a nationwide network of free training and lectures on various topics such as: Holocaust survivors' rights, senior citizens' rights, preparation for legal incapacity, activating long-term care and supplemental insurance, and more. We want to continue giving thousands more Holocaust survivors the opportunity to enjoy their full rights this year.Exercising your rights can change lives!
