Injured veterans paddling club

​"I am Eyal, a former combat soldier in the Nahal Reconnaissance Unit (Sayeret Nahal), and the owner of Surfski Israel Ltd. in Mikhmoret — a competitive sea kayaking club. ​The club offers a variety of activities, including a unique program dedicated to severely wounded combat veterans. ​Over the years, we have gained the knowledge, experience, and professional expertise required to bring these veterans back to the sea — returning them to physical activity, to paddling, and to a true sense of freedom. We have developed specialized and entirely unique adaptations for both our equipment and training methods, ensuring that every veteran can paddle and seamlessly integrate just like anyone else. ​Today, we are the only club in the world that teaches competitive sea kayaking to wounded veterans, providing full, personalized adaptations tailored to the specific needs of each individual. ​We view this as our calling: to give them back the sea, restore their sense of capability, and reconnect them with life. ​The goal of this project is to raise funds for specialized equipment. This will allow us to sustain and expand our operations, welcome more veterans, and continue developing innovative solutions and adaptations for them."
