Support Eicha 2026 Event – In Memory of Shira Banki

This coming July, on the eve of Tisha B’Av (July 22, 2026), we will hold the annual Eicha event in memory of Shira Banki - an evening of dialogue, listening, and hope. Since October 7th, Israeli society has been coping with profound pain, loss, and fear that continue to shape everyday life. At first, it seemed that out of the terrible tragedy we might be able to put aside our deepest divisions and unite around what we share. But over time, it became clear how deep those divisions still are, and how urgently we need spaces for listening, human connection, and compassion. Precisely now, we choose to continue creating a gentle and safe space for encounter - a place where different voices can be heard, where people can remain together even in disagreement, and where we remember our shared responsibility for one another. Producing a Tisha B’Av event like this is not something we take for granted. It requires resources, commitment, and faith in the possibility of a better future.
