After years of war, fear, and uncertainty, it’s easy to feel like the next generation in Israel is lost. More and more children are growing up in a reality shaped by self-doubt, educational gaps, violence, loneliness, and the feeling that no one truly sees them. But at the Yerucham Association, we believe in something different. We believe that Israel’s future will not be determined only in government buildings, on the news, or on the battlefield. It will be shaped in classrooms. By children who are given an opportunity. By teachers who refuse to give up on them. By adults who choose to truly see them. For more than 20 years, the Yerucham Association has worked in schools across Israel’s social and geographic periphery, proving time and time again: When a child is given the tools, confidence, and belief that they are capable, their reality changes.
