Establishing “Mini HaOtef of Israel”

The people of Israel seek to honor civilian heroes who fell while saving lives on October 7, 2023. Unknown heroes who acted lues of mutual responsibility and the duty to save lives—and chose to go out and rescue others, risking their own lives, even though they were not called up under an emergency order. Over the past two years, we have researched and gathered the powerful and inspiring stories of ordinary civilians who acted beyond the box and outside their official roles, risking their lives to save their friends, their families, and the people of Israel. We seek to share their stories through a moving memorial initiative—“The Path of Life”—established in the spirit of the heroic Achi legacy (Amir, Mital, and Oded Chai), in Kfar Achi, near Pardes Hanna. Together, we are establishing “Mini HaOtef of Israel” in their memory—a site that will serve as a place of pilgrimage for learning and commemoration of their legacy, guided by lone soldiers who have been physically and emotionally wounded. We would be honored by your partnership through a donation toward the establishment of this project and in paying tribute to our heroes.
