Scope

“SCOPE” is an initiative dedicated to improving the working conditions and well-being of medical residents in hospitals across Israel. Resident physicians are the force that keeps the public health system running 24/7, in routine and emergency situations. But in practice, many of them work in conditions that are not adapted to the workload and importance of the role, and without sufficient support for their personal well-being. What We DoSCOPE leads the renovation and upgrading of on-call rooms in hospitals. Our goal is simple: create fast, measurable change with daily impact on medical teams. An active on-call room serves dozens of residents each month and operates around the clock. So far, successful pilot projects have been completed in several hospitals, in collaboration with partners from the business and social sectors.
