Fundraising Goal: ₪100,000 in the Coming Year Scope is dedicated to improving the working conditions and well being of medical residents in Israel. After successfully renovating on call rooms in several hospitals across the country, we are now raising ₪100,000 to expand our activities, renovate additional resident rooms, and develop new initiatives that will support residents throughout the demanding years of their training. Medical residents are the backbone of Israel’s healthcare system, providing care around the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Yet many of them work under conditions that do not provide adequate opportunities for rest, recovery, or basic support. Recognizing this challenge, we founded Scope to create a meaningful support system focused on resident wellness, community, and professional development. Our vision is to reimagine the residency experience in Israel by building a comprehensive framework of support, wellbeing, and opportunities for medical residents. We are working to create a better reality for the next generation of physicians through community building, mentorship programs, mental health and wellness initiatives, strategic partnerships, and meaningful resources that create tangible impact on the ground. Today, our primary focus is renovating and upgrading resident on call rooms in hospitals, creating immediate, everyday improvements that directly affect the lives of countless residents each month. Over the past year, we have successfully led pilot projects in collaboration with private sector partners. The furniture used in these projects was purchased from a business owned by an IDF reservist, reflecting our belief in strengthening communities through collaboration, mutual support, and social impact. Donations are eligible for tax benefits under Section 46 of the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance. Looking ahead, Scope aims to expand its activities to additional initiatives that support resident physicians, including meals during overnight shifts, transportation after long shifts, and other services designed to reduce workload burdens and improve the residency experience across Israeli hospitals.
