Kruvit project 2026

been cooking hot festive meals for more than 17 years and distributing them before the holiday evening to thousands of lonely elderly people, Holocaust survivors, and families in need. Some of the meals are prepared individually by people in their homes, while others are cooked in large kitchens such as the kitchen at HaKfar HaYarok. We are assisted by the teenagers who study there, as well as parents from the community, with packing and distribution. Our many volunteers deliver the meals to people’s homes before the holiday evening, visiting lonely elderly individuals with a smile and a warm holiday meal, bringing them great joy. Beyond the food itself, the visit and delivery of the meal show them that they have not been forgotten. For them, this is truly “food for the soul” and brings them immense happiness. Starting this coming Sunday, we will once again be cooking the meals in the village kitchen, and we need your help to fund the ingredients for the cooking. The cost of each meal is 60 NIS, and any donation amount is welcome. Your donations will help us cover the costs of ingredients and the preparation of the meals.
