SkateFactory – Building a Home for Skateboarding in the Galilee

Northern Israel’s youth and young adults have spent too long growing up under constant conflict. Now they need more than safety, they need somewhere to belong. Since October 7th, tens of thousands of residents from northern border communities have faced evacuation, disruption, reserve duty, and prolonged uncertainty. The North needs security and communities need innovative ways to rebuild. They need places to gather, opportunities to reconnect, and spaces where young people can lay down roots again. SkateFactory is another kind of answer. We are the first indoor skatepark in Northern Israel: a living, breathing space for young people to move, express themselves, connect with mentors, and build a sense of belonging. We have already built the space. We have already created the buzz. Now we need your help to officially open the doors to the community. For young people in the North, this is more than a skatepark. It is a place to breathe, to believe in the future. Our goal is to raise ₪100,000 so SkateFactory can be safe, fully operational, and ready to serve youth, veterans, and the wider Galilee community throughout the rest of 2026. With your support, the park will be renovated and prepared to open its doors to the public. We will design youth and community development programming, host events and workshops, and establish SkateFactory as a hub. The North has waited long enough. Help us open the doors now. Suggested giving levels: ₪150 Protects one skater • Provides basic safety adaptations and protective equipment so one more young person can enter the park safely. ₪300 Builds one more feature Helps reinforce skatepark features, ramps, and rails to make the park more exciting, challenging, and accessible. ₪600 Supports one community outreach event Helps fund one organized activity, youth-led event, or engagement session for the local community. ₪1,200 Open the doors for 2026 Helps fund access, workshops, community activities, and equipment so SkateFactory can serve youth and veterans throughout the rest of 2026. The space is built. The youth are waiting. Now we need you to help us open the doors. Donate today.
