40 Years of Torah

For 40 years, The RRG Beit Midrash has been building Jewish community for students, olim, lone soldiers, and young adults in Jerusalem. What began at our home base on Hebrew University’s Mount Scopus campus has connected thousands of young English speakers to meaningful Torah learning, authentic friendships, inspiring speakers, and transformative Shabbat and holiday experiences. Today, the needs of young English-speakers in Jerusalem are changing —and so are we. While Hebrew University remains our home base, our Torah Café programming is growing across Jerusalem, with vibrant events in multiple spaces in Nachlaot, expanded offerings in Katamon, and new opportunities to bring Torah, community, and connection directly to where young people live. As we celebrate 40 years of impact, this campaign will help us build the next chapter: expanding Torah learning, Shabbat and holiday programming, musical events, and community experiences that strengthen Jewish life for students and olim throughout Jerusalem.
