“From the Negev to International Stages”The “From the Negev to International Stages” project was created to expand and strengthen the Excellence Program for children and youth from the Negev who demonstrate high potential, dedication, and commitment. The program combines intensive professional training in classical and contemporary dance with personal mentorship, workshops, and masterclasses, alongside direct exposure to the professional dance world through encounters with , attendance at company rehearsals and performances, and preparation for competitions, summer intensives, and professional auditions. The project provides children of the Negev with a genuine opportunity for artistic and educational excellence — regardless of socioeconomic background or geographic location — while fostering self-confidence, perseverance, and personal empowerment. Key Facts• More than 50 years of educational and community activity in the Negev • 22 students currently participating in two excellence classes • Students from Be’er Sheva, Yeruham, Dimona, Negev regional communities, and surrounding areas • includes 27 dancers from Israel and around the world • Alumni continue into leading professional programs and companies in Israel and internationally The annual operating cost of the Excellence Program is approximately ₪340,000, funded through tuition fees, self-generated income, and significant organizational investment.
