Giving the Children of the Negev Wings to Dream BigFor more than 50 years, has worked to make professional dance education accessible to children of the Negev, מתוך אמונה that talent should never depend on financial circumstances. Guided by this vision, the “Opportunity Fund” was established in 1975 to ensure that no child is left off the dance floor because of economic hardship. The fund provides scholarships and financial assistance to outstanding students from families facing financial challenges, enabling them to continue learning, growing, and fulfilling their potential. Achievements & Impact• 67 scholarships awarded over the past 3 years • Total support provided: ₪143,000 • Dozens of children and youth from the Negev continued their professional training thanks to the fund • In 2025, Bat-Dor students won 8 out of only 12 outstanding awards in a leading national dance competition The fund also supports outstanding students in participating in professional summer programs in Israel and abroad, exposing them to international opportunities and helping them continue advancing professionally.
