Building Resilience in Shelters - “Liron’s Little Gnome” by Aspaklaria Theatre.
A children’s play and therapeutic drama workshop for children and parents in shelters and protected spaces.
Since the beginning of the war, residents of northern Israel have been living in a difficult and complex reality. Thousands of children and families are forced to spend long hours in shelters and protected spaces while coping with anxiety, stress, uncertainty and a deep sense of insecurity.
Research shows that anxiety levels among children in northern Israel have risen sharply and alarmingly, with many children experiencing symptoms of anxiety, stress, sleep difficulties, irritability and trouble concentrating.
Now more than ever, it is essential to give children moments of hope, joy and emotional resilience, so they can continue to grow even in the midst of hardship.
