The farm’s mission is to preserve the unique character of the Judean Desert as an open and natural landscape, and to protect national lands from hostile takeover and damage to public resources. Through Jewish-Zionist presence, agriculture, land stewardship, and a deep connection to the earth, the farm strengthens responsibility and commitment to one of the most beautiful and significant regions of Israel. But Nehora is much more than a place that protects the land. It is a place of connection and encounter — where people from across Israel come to experience the desert, reconnect with nature, participate in community activities, undergo meaningful personal experiences, and build a future of responsibility, mutual support, and love for the land.
