Hillel Yaffe Medical Center is the primary hospital serving the region between Tel Aviv and Haifa, caring for approximately 650,000 residents and functioning as a regional trauma center. For many, it is the only accessible source of advanced and life-saving medical care. Today, the hospital relies on a single MRI machine, over 13 years old, which can no longer meet the growing demand, Long waiting times delay critical diagnoses- especially in urgent cases where every moment counts. MRI is a vital tool in modern medicine, enabling accurate diagnosis of complex conditions-often making the difference between life and death. To address this urgent need, we are establishing a new, advanced and protected MRI unit, including: A state-of-the-art 3 Tesla MRI system Upgrade of the existing MRI machine A protected facility ensuring continuous operation, even during emergencies. This initiative will significantly improve diagnostic accuracy, reduce waiting times, and provide faster, more precise care to hundreds of thousands of people.
