Pidyon Kaparot Campaign - Matat

Midreshet Lindenbaum - Matat
Donors: 42
Over the past three years, Midreshet Mattat has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from approximately 55 students to nearly 85 students annually. This growth reflects the increasing demand for a Beit Midrash that combines serious Torah study, personal development, community engagement, and a deep commitment to the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
As our student body continues to grow, so do the educational and community based needs of the Midrasha. In order to continue providing every student with the highest level of support and opportunity, we are launching our 2026 Annual Campaign.
In recent years, we have chosen to conduct a relationship-based campaign built on personal connections and trusted ambassadors. We invite you to become partners in our mission by sharing the story of Midreshet Mattat with family members, friends, and supporters who may wish to join us in our current endeavors.
1. Supporting Our Alumni Serving in the IDF
Midreshet Mattat maintains an active and ongoing relationship with approximately 130 alumnae currently serving in the Israel Defense Forces.
Every week, members of our staff travel the breadth of Israel to visit these young women on their army bases, providing Torah learning, personal guidance, emotional support, and a meaningful connection to their Midrasha community during their military service.
Annual Cost: $36,000
2. Scholarship Fund
We believe that financial circumstances can never prevent a young woman from experiencing a transformative year of Torah learning and personal growth.
As enrollment continues to increase, so does the need for scholarship assistance for students requiring financial support.
Annual Scholarship Fund: $18,000
3. Student Commons and Learning Hub
While the Midrasha has grown significantly, our primary facility has largely remained unchanged.
We would like to create a space outside of the Beit Midrash where students can gather, learn, build relationships, and strengthen the sense of community that defines the Midreshet Mattat experience.
This upgraded area will serve as a center for group bonding and character building.
Project Cost: $14,000
4. Expanding the Beit Midrash Learning Space
The continued growth of the Midrasha requires additional learning space and furnishings.
The Beit Midrash desperately needs additional tables and seating, ensuring that every student can learn in a comfortable setting.
Project Cost: $5,400
5. Community Engagement and Social Responsibility
Throughout the year, our students participate in a wide range of community service initiatives, including:
• Teaching Hebrew language programs for new immigrants
• Mentoring young women
• Visiting and supporting senior citizens
• Assistting farmers in Northern Israel
• Providing ongoing support for families of reserve soldiers
These programs cultivate leadership, responsibility, compassion, and a lifelong commitment to serving others.
Project Cost: $3,600
Thank you for your partnership, friendship, and commitment to the future of Midreshet Mattat.
Together, we are helping shape the next generation of Torah-centered Jewish women and leaders.
Shana Tova U'Metuka and Ketiva V'Chatima Tova!
