This Tisha B’Av, Reconnect Israeli Society to the Temple Mount
The last few years have been historic.
Since the liberation of Jerusalem, perhaps since the days of the Second Temple, there was nothing like this. Thanks to the growing and consistent ascent to the Temple Mount, change has arrived: Jewish prayer and presence are becoming part of the norm. Every year, tens of thousands of Jews ascend in purity, pride, and joy to the holiest place in Judaism. Things that were once a distant dream are now reality. The winds of change are blowing.
But there is still much to do. Despite the changes, the struggle continues.
The outrageous ban on ritual and prayer items such as tefillin, a tallit, or the four species is still in place, and the Israeli flag is still not fully normalized.
Unjust administrative restraining orders banning Jews from the Temple Mount still occur.
But we will get there too. We are not slowing down, and we are not stopping.
Beyadenu - Returning to the Temple Mount Continues to Lead the Change• Leading daily ascents to the Temple Mount. Our guides are present on the Mount every single day - in winter and summer, in rain and shine - and are the spearheads for change on the Temple Mount!
• We brought dozens of Mechinot (Pre-Military academies), schools, and groups for their first meaningful encounter with the Temple Mount.
• We helped subsidize buses - bringing hundreds of new ascenders to the Temple Mount.
• We embraced the police officers on the Temple Mount, and gave them thank you bags. Saluting them for standing on the front lines of the battle against the enemy!
• We once again led the call to raise the Israeli flag on the Temple Mount on Independence Day and Jerusalem Day — sparking a wave of flag-raisings, including by the Minister of National Security, who declared it his policy to allow Israeli flags to be flown on the Temple Mount.
• Our legal team fought hard — making it harder for police to unjustly remove and restrict Jews, and forcing the police to cancel restraining orders issued for raising the Israeli flag on the Mount.
• We deepened ties with Israeli lawmakers and influential figures around the world — we blocked the so called “Kotel Law,” which would make ascending the Temple Mount a criminal offense!
• We led a campaign forcing the Ministry of Transportation and Extra public transportation to change the signage on buses to the Temple Mount from “Al-Buraq Wall” (part of a Muslim narrative that denies our rights in Jerusalem) to “the Kotel / Western Wall.”
This Tisha B’Av, We Are Expanding! For two thousand years on Tisha B’Av we sat on the floor and wept over the destruction of the Temple. In recent years, we understood that weeping is not enough — we must rise and build.
We are building a presence, awareness, and are turning prayers into reality.
The Next Phase: Reconnecting the Jewish People to the Temple MountThe Temple Mount cannot remain the domain of a single sector of Israeli society. It is the heart of the entire nation. In the coming year, our central and strategic goal is to bring the Temple out of the boundaries of the Mount itself - and into every home in Israel.
Our Central Goal: Establishing Hundreds of Temple Mount Communities Across the CountryWith your support, in this coming year we will establish hundreds of communities throughout Israel. These communities will reach a diverse audience -secular and religious, young and old, from north to south -with the following goals:
2. Learn and Connect: To increase engagement with the tradition, history, cultural and spiritual significance of the Temple Mount and the Temple in Israeli society.
4. Grow Regular Ascents: To transform ascending the Temple Mount from a one-time experience into a consistent experience and commitment of organized groups and communities.
6. Connecting the Jewish and the National: To bring the Temple Mount back to the center of Israeli culture and identity.
The Temple Mount Is In Our Hands
Change on the Mount happened because of people who dared to ascend. The change in Israeli society will happen because of people who dare to lead.
We invite you to become a partner in this journey, through a monthly contribution. Helping build the communities, build a national consciousness, and pave the way to full sovereignty on the Mount.
This Tisha B’Av, don’t just mourn the past — push towards the future!
Together we will build the communities and bring the Temple Mount back to the hearts of the people. It is in our hands.
Our Goals for the Coming Year — Continue to Build
With your support, we’re heading into another year of vigorous action — on the Temple Mount, across Israel, and around the world. Here are our central goals:
Building a Network of Local CommunitiesWe will identify, train, and mentor local leadership and activists who ascend to the Temple Mount, with the goal of establishing communities across the country.
We will provide these communities with full professional support, including dedicated educational and study materials, lesson curricula, and impactful local events — from lectures and virtual tours to “Temple Mount Shabbats.” Making the connection to the Temple Mount into a social movement throughout Israel.
Guided Tours on the Temple MountWe will continue to establish and expand the guided tour project for those ascending to the Temple Mount, alongside inspirational tours around the gates of the Mount — for those who are not yet ready to ascend but wish to connect and draw closer.
Education for the Next GenerationWe will deepen our work with pre-military academies (Mechinot), schools, and high school students through the “Gefen” system — including lectures, physical and virtual tours, and bringing groups to the Temple Mount, instilling its significance in the younger generation.
Subsidized Transportation for Organized GroupsWe will continue helping dozens of groups and communities to reach the Temple Mount and Jerusalem through subsidized transportation and professional guidance — so that everyone can be part of the holiest site of the Jewish people.
Outreach, Media, and Social MediaWe will continue building a prominent presence on social media, in the press, and spreading our ideas through billboards and high-quality content — in Hebrew and in English.
Lobbying in Israel and Around the WorldWe will consolidate our relationships with leaders, Members of Knesset, and influential figures in Israel and globally, and work to advance the vision of Jewish sovereignty on the Temple Mount in the political and public arena.
