The Garage is the only school of its kind in Israel, providing a life-changing framework for talented young artists facing mental health challenges. Combining professional level training with emotional and social support, The Garage helps students build confidence, resilience and practical skills while nurturing their creativity. Through year-long programmes in Music, Art & Design, and Media & Writing, students not only develop their artistic talents, but also learn how to handle criticism, prepare portfolios, navigate interviews and successfully integrate into higher education and the workforce. A dedicated team of social workers supports each student’s emotional wellbeing throughout the journey. The impact is extraordinary. More than half of The Garage’s graduates have already gone on to leading art and music schools, creating opportunities for meaningful careers and independent futures. Through its ongoing Mentor Programme, The Garage continues supporting graduates long after completion, ensuring they have the tools and guidance to cope with everyday challenges and continue thriving personally and professionally.
