Maoz Farm

By Rujum-Zionist Entrepreneurship

A new pioneering farm at the meeting point of the Negev, the Hills and the Lowlands - land, faith, and love of Israel

Across Judea and Samaria today, we face a complex and challenging reality regarding the preservation of our land. Open spaces that are not actively maintained require a living, working presence. Our connection to the land is built step by step, dunam by dunam. Right here, at the strategic junction where the Negev, the Hills, and the Lowlands meet (the "Eshkolot Corridor" in the southern Hebron Hills), Maoz Farm will rise. The farm is established in loving memory of our beloved nephew, Lt. Maoz Israel Recanati, who fell in battle in Lebanon on Jerusalem Day (May 2026). Maoz was a man of truth and a Torah scholar who connected heaven and earth. He deeply loved working the land and helping his fellow people with quiet kindness and profound humility. Who are we? We are Shai (a farmer and soldier) and Sarah (a nurse and tour guide) Asael. Along with our four young children, we have chosen to bind our lives to the soil of the southern Hebron Hills. We are building an open home on the hilltop that will carry Maoz's name, continuing the pioneering vision of his grandfather, Yaki Asael of blessed memory. For us, this is not a business plan — it is a way of life. Our Mission & Vision: A living, working Jewish presence at this exact spot will prevent the movement of terror elements, enhance regional security, and safeguard state lands. Beyond cattle grazing and vineyards which help secure the area, Maoz farm will serve as a therapeutic rehabilitation space for IDF veterans (healing through the land), a warm home for lone soldiers, and a vibrant educational and cultural hub. This farm will rise. The only question is - will you be part of it? No one holds the land alone; we hold it together. Every donation translates directly into facts on the ground: a head of cattle in the herd, a row of vines in the vineyard, or the first structure on the hilltop. We invite you to join our founders' circle and partner with us in this enterprise of land, spirit, and kindness!
