Bring the Tools Back to Jerusalem's Bike Workshop

What happened? A few days ago, our community bike workshop in Jerusalem was broken into. Hand and power tools, drills, drivers and piles of bike parts were stolen - the equipment that keeps the workshop running and welcoming for everyone. This isn't our first time. After a similar break-in in 2023, this amazing community helped us reach 105% of our goal and rebuild. We need you again. Who we are Pnimeet ("inner tube" in Hebrew) is a cooperative community bike workshop - a nonprofit promoting bicycles as everyday transport. Our Jerusalem workshop, at the Experimental School, is open to anyone who needs a bike fixed: rain or shine, in many languages. We fix together, teach bike mechanics, recycle parts and bring abandoned bikes back to the streets. We ride hand in hand with ABY - Bicycles for Jerusalem, the city's cycling community, which leads monthly community rides and works with the municipality for better bike lanes and infrastructure. Together we are next in line for the urban cycling revolution. What will the money go to? • Replacing the stolen tools and equipment • Restocking spare parts for repairs • Training new volunteers • Growing our activity - at the workshop and on our mobile trailer across the city Every donation puts a tool back on the wall. See you at the workshop!
