We at the Yad Yissachar v'Yitzchak Association have been operating on a voluntary basis since 1999, and we believe in the power of community to change reality. Every week, dozens of volunteers from all walks of life gather to pack and distribute food baskets; the association has 120 branches in schools where items are collected throughout the year for more than 1,000 families across the country — from the Golan Heights to Eilat. We carefully vet every request through forms, documents, and confirmations from the schools, so that we assist only those who truly need it. These families are already awaiting this year a generous food basket that will give them comfort and the feeling of a real, joyful holiday.
