T The gates are still open. This Sukkot the yeshiva is buying sets of the four species, and food for the chag table, for families who cannot afford them. Whoever gives here is not helping from the outside. You receive a real share in the mitzvah of the lulav and etrog that your money buys, the same mitzvah another family will hold in their hands on the morning of the chag. On Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Rav Yaakov Shepherd prayed at King David's Tomb with those who would join later already in mind, and that prayer covers everyone who joins now.
