Tzahali – A Pre-Military Program for Religious Young Women – IDF, Torah and Am Yisrael

Tzahali, the first and largest pre-military preparatory program for religious girls, is growing and has opened new branches this year—and we need your support to help us continue to grow. For 21 years, Tzahali has been a home for more than 1,000 young women during the pivotal year of transition from adolescence to adulthood. A home of Torah. A home of dialogue and wisdom. A home of meaningful encounters. A home for women who listen, lead, and learn. Tzahali has worked tirelessly to open doors for women—both in the world of Torah study and within the ranks of the IDF. Tzahali envisions its graduates as confident, strong, deeply connected to the diverse parts of Israeli society and to the Jewish people around the world. When we look at our graduates, we see the impact they are making: they are transforming society, taking their place at the decision-making tables of the IDF and Israeli society, guided by a sense of mission, humility, and responsibility. Tzahali has grown to three branches, operating in Kibbutz Yavne, Meshuot Yitzhak, and Gush Etzion (Kibbutz Migdal Oz), and has established the Midreshet Roni, which currently operates at the main Beit Midrash in Kibbutz Ein Tzurim.
