The Shalvat Chayim Association is much more than just a home—it is a warm, embracing haven that is open for our resident participants coping with mental health challenges 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Saturdays and holidays. Here, they are never alone. Over the past year, the home underwent a comprehensive renovation costing hundreds of thousands of shekels—to expand our hearts, upgrade the conditions, and allow our dear residents to live in the most respectful, comfortable, and optimal environment they truly deserve. Alongside this, thanks to broad-hearted individuals, we also succeeded in expanding our ongoing activities: we added a weekly occupational therapy session featuring an empowering rhythmics instructor who brings joy and energy to the residents, and we went on a large annual trip outside the city. But the journey is far from over, and many plans await us in the coming years. With the help and support of kind people like you, we can reach our next goals: ✨ Expand occupational therapy workshops to take place every single day of the week. ✨ Go on trips outside the city 3 to 4 times a year. All of this goodness, alongside the development of the home and the expansion of our activities, comes to life thanks to generous people who hold the welfare of those coping with mental health challenges close to their hearts.
