One Wish Forward – Honoring Mishael’s Legacy Many young people have the talent, ambition, and determination to succeed, yet lack the resources, connections, and guidance to move forward. Together, we can open doors to their future. Ruach Arava’s “One Wish Forward” initiative honors Moshael, a fighter and team commander in Israel’s elite Yamam counterterrorism unit, who fell in battle on October 7 while defending communities in southern Israel. Raised in Ramla, Mishael forged his path to leadership through determination and belief in his abilities. This initiative carries his legacy forward by helping others realize their potential. The program supports motivated young people from underserved communities who lack a strong support network. It provides six years of mentorship through key stages of life- from high school and a pre-army leadership academy to military service, higher education, and a career. Your donation will help us identify promising young people, support their participation in pre-army academies, provide personal mentorship, and connect them with scholarships, opportunities, and a supportive community.
