Zimra was established about 30 years ago in order to help mental health patients in Israel. Working with 18 governmental hospitals throughout Israel, Zimra is run solely by volunteers who witnessed the distress of mental health patients and realized that they needed help. Zimra has been repeatedly commended over the years by doctors and mental health professionals in these hospitals for the wonderful work and support that it provides.
